3.4.2 Needs of hotel management company and AC engineering firms
- Minimize revenue loss: Minimize out of order rooms due to construction to only the floor being worked and floors above and below with 30 day construction requirement for 1 floor with 33 rooms.
Have construction while keeping the hotel business open for guests.
- Maintain current effective working space: AC upgrade without expanding current machine room and piping space.
- Satisfy planned architectural AC needs: Due to varying room directions, AC system must respond to various cooling and heating needs occurring simultaneously.
- Satisfy rooms’ environmental needs: Must be able to adjust temperature in each room due to varying effective or feel of temperature.
Satisfy varying
temperature preference of overseas guests.
Increase air volume to eliminate temperature imbalances.
Maximize existing pipes to countermeasure increased cooling load
- Compatibility with existing facility
Continue using the existing chilled and heat source receiving facilities
System that delivers all year round dual cooling and heating with 2-pipe chilled/hot water system.
Accomplish all the above at low cost
