5 Modes of PAFMAC Operation
The PAFMAC unit has a built-in fan coil and heat pump. The heat pump and three-way valve are automatically controlled by a multiple body thermostat in the unit. By automatically judging the following five operation modes, it realizes stable, efficient and comfortable air conditioning throughout all four seasons.
1. Fan Coil Operation (FCU operation) | Provide cooling and heating capacity by allowing the circulating water to pass through the chilled and hot water coil at a temperature of 40 ℉ in summer and 120 ℉ in winter. |
2. Powerful Driving (FCU + HP operation) | Effective for quickly starting up the air conditioner when the maximum power is required in hot and cold days. The cold water and hot water used in the FCUs are re-used as the heat source for the HPs to support the cooling and heating capability. |
3. Reverse Mode Operation (HP operation) | Cooling operation with hot water, heating operation in chilled water is available by HP. Reverse mode during operation, exhaust heat from the room is heat recovery. |
4. Dry Mode Operation (FCU + HP operation) | Dry mode can be dehumidified without lowering the room temperature much. Cooling with FCU and reheat in HP heating mode. |
5. Ventilation | When the room temperature is appropriate, only the fan will operate. |
